Scrag Mill

This is a fully adjustable small log, two saw scrag mill. It is self contained and run by a Mitsubishi diesel 6 cylinder 6D14 engine. The engine runs the saws through a gear box & clutch system. It also runs a 30 gallon per minute hydraulic pump and has a 150 gallon oil reservoir. Each operation is run by hydraulics, having it's own individual shut off & flow control valve.

The two stage infeed hydraulic operates from the sawyers location made up of a storage infeed unscrambler and feed to mill. There is a hydraulic roll log turner as well as up & down to give the best position for the log before it feeds the saw. Both saws are 28 inches fully adjustable from 3 inches to 12 inches and can saw logs 12 inches in diameter & up to 12 feet long.

It is equipped with a control feed chain system with 2 slab transfer belts and built in hydraulic driven sawdust chutes. There is a 500 gallon diesel storage tank with stand and shut off & filter system. There are steps and a walkway around the engine and sawyers location.

This mill will run all day for you & deliver up to 8 logs per minute. It is basically in one piece . The engine & infeed can easily be detached & the whole unit could be moved on one transport 45 highboy.
