Complete Planer Mill (Moulder). Set up with nylon camel back transfer chains.

The moulder has stainless steel bed plates for stain free product and handles up to 20 feet of product.

Each transfer belt, infeed, outfeed and moulder have their own separate

speed controls, off & on switch and disconnect.

Four strand infeed deck - 14 feet long. Four arm tilt hoist comes with spillway and an electrical driven gear box. The trim saw infeed has a 6 strand camel back chain. Trim saw unscrambler and trim saw feed is equipped with a board straighter & trim to length stops in 1 foot increments. A safety wand shuts down the chain feed to the trim saw.

Closed in (guarded) trim saw  is 22 in. in diameter with an on - off control switch. The planer infeed has 5 feed rolls on the bottom & two pineapple feed rolls on top. Separate feed control from the moulder can be sped up to assist moulder feed & prevent lagging as each board is accepted into the infeed.

Planer Assembly includes an electric driven Watkins 7 head moulder. It handles at 100 ft/min comfortably. The hydraulic speed is adjustable. The adjustable feed hydraulic operation opens to 4 inches by 10 inches wide. Stainless steel bed plates with touch up sharpening during operation. The planner outfeed has a nylon outfeed belt 12 inches by 10 feet. The Landing table has a 7 strand camel back chain and on - off control.

The Trim Saw Moulder Outfeed has a board straightener, surge deck and boomerang measuring trim to length stops. Total measuring platform can be moved up to 6 inches over or under trim  length in one easy manual setting. The Outfeed Trim Saw is a closed in (Guarded) trim saw measuring 22 inches in diameter with on - off control switch. It has a four roller transfer to water fall and landing table. The sort table is 12 ft by 22 ft with 6 nylon belt strands. Set up for stain free product.

Planer electrical control panel has seven disconnects with one main disconnect. Trim saw infeed, outfeed control consul and a speed control for the pineapple infeed. The hydraulic power pack includes pumps & electrical motor, Speed control for the moulder with it's own filters, oil reservoir and moulder head set. The Mitsubishi generator is a 6 cylinder generator. 315 KVA 3 phase, 460 volt with transformers & disconnects. Set up for 110 - 220 single phase power. Diesel storage tank holds 1000 gallons & comes with stand, filter & valve system.

.Planer shaving collection & trim end conveyers and a dust collection system with a 75 HP motor that goes to 100 ft outside building. Collection from moulder heads and trim saw, band saw listed separate from planer. There are three trim saw waste outfeed conveyers, two - 12 inches by 12 feet and one 12 inches by 18 feet. The walkway and stairs have raised metal stairs & a raised metal and wood platform access to the trim saws, transfers, moulder etc.

The grinding room has a Rondamat 960 planer knife grinder which is automatic for templates. There are an assortment of moulder heads, templates, v joint tongue & groove and one bench grinder. The compressor is an Ingersoll-Rand 30 hp, 3 phase 460 volt with electric controls. It has piping & valve system and an air drying pipe system.

Other Points of Interest

  • The waste blower is interconnected with the moulder to shut down the moulder until the blower is running. This prevents moulder piping plug ups.

  • Note: Each transfer has a separate motor and it's own electric disconnect. The trim saws are equipped with safety feed shutdown wands & are controlled from a control consul and foot feed for start & stop.

  • The electric room has a power divider switch to accommodate a small generator for planer mill non operation periods, i.e. lights, grinder room etc.

  • The electric room is equipped with a single phase 220 volt transformers for lights & miscellaneous.

  • All equipment is like new & has only been run 1 1/2 years since built.

  • The equipment was built with ease of set up, leveling and in sections for dismantling or moving.

  • The planer is under a roofed, open sided building which can be sold separately.
